Ms. Carlene Brodie, age 89, transitioned on August 22, 2023 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023 at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church, 1003 Dr. H.E. McNair Street, Goldsboro, NC.

Pastor Kathye G. Batts will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stoney Hill United Holy Church.

The family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., and other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her niece, LaKicia Vick at 121 Carolina Forest Drive, Goldsboro, NC, off of Highway 111.All floral arrangements should be delivered to New Stoney Hill Church on Wednesday after 12:00 noon.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews-Marrow Memorial Chapel of Goldsboro.
