Mr. Donald Porter, age 70, of Fayetteville, NC, transitioned on July 28, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025 at The New Morning Star Church of Christ, 225 S. Glendale Drive, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Audrey McCarter-Hedgepeth will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation will be held on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
