Ms. Dorothy Cofield Whitaker, age 78, transitioned on March 27, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at North End Missionary Baptist Church, 500 E. Grand Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC.

Reverend Jeffrey Mann will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
