Ms. Edna "El" Stokes Franks, age 64, transitioned on June 19, 2021 at North Carolina State Veterans Home in Kinston, NC surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 10: 00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC.

Reverend Scottie Rodgers will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Burial will follow at Washington Family Cemetery in Dudley, NC.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
