Ms. Ellen Smith Conyers, age 82, transitioned on January 3, 2026 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 7798 Red Oak Battleboro Road, Battleboro, NC 27809.
Pastor Ronnie Bridges will deliver words of comfort to the family.
Interment will follow at Bunn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour to the service at the church.
Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
