Obituary
Mr. James "Jimmie" Whitaker Jr, age 80, transitioned on May 29, 2023 at Nash UNC Health Care.
Please remember his family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Matthews Family Mortuary.
Elder Derrick Oates will deliver words of comfort to the family.
Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
