Mrs. Janie Ruth Hines-Murphy, age 80, transitioned on December 03, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at The Church of the Open Door-Baptist, 132 S. Glendale Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

Reverend Leonard Johnson will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Conetoe Chapel Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
