Mr. Joseph Batts, age 88, transitioned on September 2, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 414 West 1st Street, Princeton, NC.

Interment will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews-Marrow Memorial Chapel of Goldsboro.
