Ms. Joyce Ann "Jazzie" Strickland, age 49,  transitioned on November 3, 2022.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at The Church of The Open Door-Baptist, 132 S. Glendale Drive, Rocky Mount, NC.

Dr. Thomas L. Walker will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will take place 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at East Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
