Mr. Larry Alphonso Horne Sr., age 78, of Georgia, formerly of Rocky Mount, NC transitioned on August 11, 2025 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at East End Missionary Baptist Church, 928 East Highland Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

Reverend W. R. Burston will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
