Mrs. Linda S. Taylor , transitioned onDecember 31, 2017 in the comforts of her home surrounded by care and love. Please remember herloved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this time. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Sullivan; mother, Sally Sullivan; and brother, Dennis Sullivan. Linda leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 41 years, Mr. Gene E. Taylor; daughter, Angela L. Taylor (Chris); stepdaughter, Lisa Taylor; stepson, Gene Taylor Jr.; grandson, Gene Taylor (Sonja); brothers, Thomas Sullivan (Pam); Ricky Sullivan; Randy Sullivan (Teresa); Jeff Sullivan; sisters, Peggy Wood (Clyde); Sally Sullivan; special friend, Tim Pate; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Bethany Church of Christ located 23 Bethany Church Road in Whitakers, NC with Linda's brother, Pastor Thomas Sullivan giving words of comfort. In lieu of flowers the family request that all donations be made to Sally Sullivan, 1057 Parker Rd, Nashville, NC 27856 where they will also receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. This service will take place Saturday,January 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. Professional services and the Ministry of Compassion havebeen entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
