Ms. Madge Lawing Hopkins, age 79, transitioned peacefully on July 14, 2022 in the comfort of her home.
Please remember her family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church, 7400 Mt. Holly Road, Charlotte, NC.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church.
Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation. A memorial fund in her honor has been established to benefit The Woodland/Paw Creek Reading Program. The address to mail all contributions is Madge Hopkins Memorial Fund PO BOX 49063, Charlotte, NC 28277.
