Mr. Maurice E. Lane, age 83, transitioned on August 29, 2020 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at East End Missionary Baptist Church, 928 E. Highland Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Mack E. Battle will deliver the eulogy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Due to COVID-19, we are asking everyone in attendance at visitation and funeral to please wear a mask.
