Mother Lillie Mae Battle, age 93, transitioned peacefully at her residence.

She was married to the late Willie Edward Battle.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Bishop Shelton C. Daniel will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Entombment will be private.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make contributions to the Wake County Meals on Wheels.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
