Mother Verta Ruth Dickens Marsh, age 95, transitioned on March 17, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Emanuel Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 635 Henry Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.

Elder Alpha J. Herring will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
