Mr. Julius Melvin Brinkley, age 82, transitioned on February 28, 2026 at Nash UNC Health Care.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 702 W. Raleigh Blvd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.

Reverend Dr. Timothy J. Walker will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
