Mr. Kelvin "Kel" Jones, age 40, transitioned on August 11, 2026 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Greater Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 801 Branch Street, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Dennis Gunter will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Marks Chapel Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
