Mr. Rashaun Marquise Battle, age 38, transitioned on May 23, 2026 at Nash UNC Health Care.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2141 Cokey Road, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Malcolm Eatmon will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation will held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
