Mr. Shawn  Lane "Johnny" Boone, age 62, transitioned on September 16, 2026 at Nash UNC Health Care.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2026 at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Dr. Everett Silver will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Visitation will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
