Ms. Ethel Smith Bryant, age 81, transitioned on February 25, 2026 at Edgecombe Health Center in Tarboro, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Matthews Family Mortuary.
Dr. James Lyons will deliver words of comfort to the family.
Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.
Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
