Ms. Myrtle Alston-Summers, age 71, transitioned on May 7  2026 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Pleasure Hill Baptist Church, 15415 Avent Road, Whitakers, NC.

Interment will follow at Alston Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
