Officer Michael A. Cotton Jr., age 29, transitioned on June 10, 2026.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at L.N. Forbes FWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street SE, Wilson, NC.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
