Mr. Ollie Williams, Sr., "Grass Man" age 78, transitioned on November 29, 2025 at Nash UNC Health Care.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at New Morning Star Church of Christ, 225 S. Glendale Drive, Rocky Mount NC.

Pastor Stacy Evans, officiating and Reverend Jerry Spruell, Eulogist.

Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Oak City, NC.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
