Ms. Patricia Ann Avent, age 70, transitioned on January 12, 2026.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 825 Beal Street, Rocky Mount, NC.

Pastor Rodney Avent will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Pleasure Hill Church Cemetery in Whitakers, NC.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
