Mr. Robert Alton Whitehead, age 81, transitioned on December 5, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2141 Cokey Road, Rocky Mount, NC.

Reverend Malcolm Eatmon will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.

Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
