Ronald "Ron" Eugene Outlaw, 65, son of the late Frank Outlaw & Katherine Taylor Outlaw Proctor, was born on March 20, 1954 in Nashville, NC. He departed his earthly life on February 22, 2020 surrounded by loved ones at Nash General Hospital.

Ron was a funny, kind, loving man who loved to write poetry, listen to southern gospel music, and drink his sundrop. He knew how to light up a room. He was always dancing no matter what song was playing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter, Chastity Bryant & husband Melvin, from Rocky Mount, NC; His brother, Pete Outlaw & wife Patsy, from Nashville, NC; His sister Sharon Gardner & husband Larry, from Rocky Mount, NC; His brother Troy Outlaw & wife Ellen of Nashville, NC

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Outlaw, Special Friend Larry Adams, and Fur Baby Lordy.

His loving legacy and caring nature is carried on in the lives he touched including many nieces and nephews and a long list of family and friends.

Visitationwill be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.. at Fellowship of PraiseChurch of God ,3201 Benvenue Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Celebration of Ronald's Life will followat 3:00 p.m.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
