Mr. Sam Pete Brake, age 84, transitioned on November 3, 2018 at Nash UNC Health Care.Please remember his family, loved ones and friends in your thoughts and prayers at this time. The service of remembrance will take place Friday, November 9, 2018. The service will begin at 12Noon to be held at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 702 W. Raleigh Blvd, Rocky Mount, North Carolina . Dr. Thomas L. Walker serves as the pastor and will also deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane. Visitation and Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. The final rites and professional arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
