Mr. Samuel Ray Davis, age 72, transitioned on July 1, 2025 at Nash UNC Health Care.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Thorne Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1624 Windsor Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

Reverend Kelly Andrews will deliver words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Final rites and professional arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
