The Reverend Barbara L. Fox , transitioned from labor to reward July 9, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Reverend Fox leaves to cherish her memory: three children who are Judy Michelle, Bonnie Felicia, and Joey Temple. She is the grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren, the sister to one brother and two sisters, the aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to many who she loved along the way. Reverend Fox's request for a more private, intimate homegoing was honored by her family and she was entombed and celebrated at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. Her pastor, Dr. Thomas L. Walker of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, N.C. provided the eulogy. The children of Reverend Fox wishes to thank everyone for understanding their mother's desire for privacy and helping them honor that request. Simultaneously, the entire family thanks everyone for their prayers, well wishes, and acts of kindness during this time of bereavement.
