Mr. Tommie George Hedgepeth, age 80, transitioned peacefully surrounded by loving family on September 25, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

The service of remembrance will take place Thursday, October 3, 2019. The service will begin at 12Noon to be held at Greater Joy Baptist Church, 820 Nashville Road, Rocky Mount, NC.

Interment will follow at Marks Chapel Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The final rites and professional arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews Family Mortuary.
