Mrs. Valerie I. Cotton McCain, age 62, departed this life on March 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

The service of remembrance will take place Saturday, April 6, 2019. The service will begin at11:00 a.m.to be held atNorth End Missionary Baptist Church, 500 East Grand Avenue,Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Reverend Stacy Evansserves as the pastor of North End Missionary Baptist Church.Reverend Dwight Johnsonwill deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery.

Visitationwill take place on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Family Mortuary.
